A Vision Is Born
The most recently completed development jewel in the Dacar portfolio is The Place At Hollywood located at the busy intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and US 441 in Hollywood, Florida. It was previously known as The Millennium Mall and it served the area with small shops for many years.
Understanding the untapped potential of this amazing property, the 60 acres were purchased in 2012. The existing building was demolished and the vision began to unfold. Construction for the Walmart building broke ground on December 2013 with construction being completed on January 2016.
The property is occupied almost completely by national retailers such as Walmart, RaceTrac, Ross, Discovery Clothing, Pet Supermarket and TD Bank. The shops are also complemented by restaurants such as Panda Express, Pollo Tropical, Taco Bell and Doorside’s newly emerging delivery and takeout concept for Carrabas and Outback Steakhouse.
